PacKit is a Windows desktop application designed to help IT pros easily manage the applications from their organization while eliminating redundant tasks.
Although its name might allude differently, PacKit is not a package authoring tool. We designed it to help you manage the deployment of existing setup packages, like EXE, MSI, or MSIX. If you are looking for a tool to create or edit such packages we recommend you take a look at Advanced Installer, another great tool built by our team at Caphyon.
Our Free edition
We’ve been helping packagers and developers build setup packagers since Windows XP was launched. 20 years later, packagers still use text or Word documents as a “database” for their package information. This is not right. This is not productive.
PacKit Free is our gift to the IT pro community. It will forever be available for free to any packager who wants to properly organize his packages, their command lines, custom configurations, and other notes.
A complete list of the features available in the free edition can be found on our Purchase page.
Your New Exoskeleton
PacKit is not here to replace you or your colleagues. Its purpose is to enhance your skills and grow your productivity, augmenting every action you take.
The commercial editions of PacKit provide you with low-friction built-in processes for getting the apps delivered and updated as soon as possible, enabling you to manage more endpoints and create time for yourself to grow your skills while improving the existing infrastructure, instead of always putting out fires.
Here is our first introduction webinar of PacKit, to help you understand how it can help you:
